Social Networks are the newest way for MLMers to socialize
Before the internet there was only one way for network marketers to socialize, in person. Now there is an array of social sites located on the internet for interaction. I'm sure you have heard of them lately. They are all over the radio and television.

- Articulate a list of other users (friends) with whom they share a connection

The start of social sites was for for college student to connect with one another. They quickly grew and now the small business owner has taken advantage of this free technology to grown their business and set up viral loops. These sites allow you to target a specific niche for your business.

- Facebook: Was initially intended for college students
- MySpace: This site boasts the largest membership of any social site. I think it was just passed by Facebook
- Linkedin: A powerful tool for business networking
- Friendster: Until the second quarter of 2004 this was considered the largest social site
- Stumbleupon: Is a web browser plugin that allows its users to discover and rate webpages, photos, videos and news articles. A great way to get website promotion.
- Del.icio.us: is a social bookmarking web service for storing, sharing and discovering web bookmarks.
- Digg: is a website made for people to discover and share content from anywhere on the internet, by submitting links or stories.
- Orkut: This site is run by Google. It claims to be designed to help users meet new friends and maintain existing relationships.
- Twitter: Allows users to send “updates” via SMS, instant messaging, email the Twitter website.
- Yahoo 360: It integrates features of social networking, blogging and photo sharing.
- Xanga: Web-based service that hosts weblogs, photoblogs, videoblogs, audioblogs, and social networking profiles.
