How Affiliate Programs Help You Earn Extra Money With No Effort

What are Affiliate Programs?

If you're a network marketer you may or may not be familiar with affiliate programs, sometimes called associate programs.

Are you using Renegade Pro or Magnetic Sponsoring? If so, you were led to these programs by an affiliate. That is a person being paid to drive folks to these types of programs so the creator and the person sending the prospect to the program both make money.

If you are not familiar with either of the two programs I mentioned, if you have ever been on the internet you have seen the Google ads. These work in much the same way. Someone (merchant) pays Google to post advertisements on the internet and someone else (affiliate) puts these ads on their website.

There are Two Common Ways to Get Paid

Pay-per-sale: is when a merchant gives a specific amount of money to another party (affiliate) that advertises on their own website or blog. (you will also see this done on Hub pages or Squidoo pages)

So, if I am advertising a book from Amazon.com on my website, someone sees it and then buys the book, I make money.

Pay-per-click: the merchant pays the affiliate based on the number of visitors who click on a sales link located on the affiliate's website or blog.

You will see on my website I'm an affiliate with several training programs. This is because I have taken the programs and find value in them. I recommend programs I'm familiar with.

When Should You Start with Affiliate Programs?

If you have a website you should wait until you are generating at least 30 visitors a day and have at least 30 pages of content posted for folks to read. Otherwise you look like you are just trying to sell anything and the potential customer will find the back button very quickly. Then You Lose!

Remember, focus on delivering good content, need I say it again? There is no such thing as get rich quick.
