Do You Really Have a Network Marketing Mentor?

How do you know if you have a network marketing mentor that is really going to help you? They may have good intentions, but good intentions will not lead you to success.

Does Your Mentor Share the Same Philosophy as You?

Have you been doing everything your mentor tells you to do with little to no success? You are being told to make a list and contact folks.

You have wanted to use the internet to get leads, but don't know how to go about doing so. Somehow you feel the internet could give you success, but your mentor does not work this way. So off you go, to Google, to find some answers to your networking challenges.

You know this can work, but how?

If your mentor is not open to using the internet it will be very hard for you to succeed if this is the way you want to get prospects. You will be working the program by yourself hoping to grow a downline.

When you finally get a prospect, who will you call for a three way call. Your mentor does not share the internet philosophy. They keep telling you to make a list and have house parties. This can be very frustrating. You will either quit or find another MLM company.

If you quit, you will miss out on your dreams.

You are Always Told to Put Folks in Your Downline that are Smarter than You and Share Your Same Values

Why would you think selecting your mentor would be any different? If you want to use the the internet to obtain your prospects then you need a mentor that shares this philosophy.

It is difficult sometimes because your mentor may be a friend, they are teaching you what they were taught, but it does not work well for you.

If this is the case you will find it very hard to be successful. You will have to think about finding a mentor that can and will show you how to succeed using the internet.

New Skills Must Be Learned

If your mentor has been in network marketing for a long time they may not have an incentive to change. You have heard; “if it’s not broke why fix it!”

But their way is not working for you!

You will need to learn how to use Facebook efficiently, create a blog or a website. There is a process to follow and you must have someone to help you through that process so you can in turn help your downline.

Carefully Look at The Following to Understand if Your Mentor is the Right One:

• Are you learning how to get prospects in a way that is comfortable for you?
• Do you want to look for prospects because you know you can help them gain what they are looking for through network marketing?
• Are you having fun growing your business?
• Does your mentor get on a three way call and sound like they are working the same program as you?

Need I say it again? It is a business, NOT a get rich quick scheme.
