You must have a MLM business plan if you want to be successful with your business. The network marketing business is no different than any other business.

Find the Right People to Work With

You need to first find the right folks to work with. If you don't do this, keep your day job and plan to have it for a long while.

How do you find the right people? Well, we are all using them, social networks. You need to become a member of some social networks such as: Facebook, MySpace, Yahoo, Netlog, friendster, etc.

Select the Social Media You Want to Use for your MLM Business Plan

You will notice that there are different social networking sites depending where you live in the world.

There are also social media sites such as: youtube, digg, stumbleupon, technorati, etc. These sites are simple social networking sites where they allow you to post profiles, show your interests, and have followers.

You can also look in places like Linkedin and Ning. As you can see the places are limitless.

Go out to these sites and search for folks with your common interest. What are they posting for others to read? Is their informative something you can use and believe? Or when you click on their website is it the same guy pitching the same get rich quick scam you have seen thousands of times before?

Find the people you can relate to and start a dialogue with them. See if they are the kind of person you feel comfortable with and would like to work with.

You don't want to waste your time working with folks that have different views and values than you. It just won't work, create your MLM business plan.

For instance, if you created your MLM business plan to obtain leads using the internet and your upline is from the old school and tells you to make a list, call the folks, rearrange your list and call them again; look for someone else to work with. You will get frustrated and hate network marketing.

Sign up with the Network Marketing Opportunity Being Promoted by the Folks You Have Selected to Work With

Once you have found the folks you want to work with sign up with their opportunity. If you follow this order you will have a much greater chance of being successful and save a lot of money.

How many times have we seen people jump from one MLM company to the next because they do not have a good fit with their upline or a MLM business plan.

95% of all network marketers fail because of lack of support and a bad compensation plan. When you have done your research first, you will find the right folks along with the right company.

All good network marketing companies have a good product. The product will not bring folks into you downline. There must be leadership and a business plan. The world if full of good products.

Determine What Your Passion is About the Product

Now that you have found a team and signed up with your new MLM opportunity it's time to see what you are passionate about. Did you sign up with a nutrition company? If so, are you passionate about folks getting better vitamins or more antioxidants?

Do you have a good understanding or want to write about why today's food is lacking in nutritional value? Are there different studies that have proven different fruits will help strengthen our immune system? Would you like to help folks understand how fruits help build our immune system?

I hope you are beginning to see that one subject such as nutrition can have many different aspects to it.

Why look for your passion? If you don't have something to write about then you look like a used car commercial. BUY THIS NOW. GET RICH QUICK. (No MLM business plan needed for that) This turns folks off. Your potential customer is now running away! You want to attract them so they trust you.

After all, why do we go to the internet? To look for answers to a problem. You need to provide quality content so you build relationships.

Remember the first thing we did? Looked at content and postings to pick a mentor.

Develop Your Concept Around your Passion and Product

You're well on your way to being a successful network marketer with a solid MLM business plan. There are now several steps you are going to have to go through to help you succeed.

• Brainstorm the concept you think you want to write about to ensure there is enough desire from folks searching the internet.
• Look for related key words to make sure there is enough desire and interest to build you pages.

You never want to guess if people are looking for the key words you are using! If you miss, you loose, no site visitors or money.

Investigate and Plan Monetization Options

Think outside the box when it comes to monetizing you hub page, website or blog. I have been using the theme of nutrition So let's take a look at what you can do. I am going to focus mainly on hub pages because if you have a website or blog you options are limitless. (I want this to be easy to start with)

One thing you must do to is become an affiliate of Google, Amazon, ebay or whoever else you want to promote items for. This is how they pay you and know who you are.

Your primary business is in nutrition and you have decided to write about making smoothies. You love making different concoctions in blenders. Along with writing a hub page on smoothies and how to make them or why everyone should have at least one a day you can advertize blenders on your page.

You can quickly add blenders to your page that are being sold on Amazon or Ebay. You have the ability to go out and select what you think the best blenders are and put them on your page.

You can do a review of blenders on another hub page and link the review to the page where you talked about creating smoothies.

When you sit down and think about all the aspects of nutrition the options to monetize are limitless. It just takes time and a little creativity. Add different scenarios to your MLM business plan. You don't have to implement them all.

You can also find affiliates that will provide you a banner for your hub page. You can copy the code and put it into you hub page.

Remember, if you take the time to plan out how you want to make extra money with you hub pages, website, or blog it will pay off. This extra money is in addition to your primary network marketing opportunity.

Again, this is not a get rich quick thing. You will need to create about 100 pages before you see a steady stream of extra revenue. Continue to refer back to your MLM business plan and stick to it.

Start Building Your Hub Pages, Blog or Website

Now that you have a team to work with, MLM company as you primary income and a monetization plan it's time to start creating your hub pages, website or blog. (if you are new to the internet, I suggest using something like Hub Pages or Squidoo)

You must remember you are writing for the internet . You are trying to brand yourself and have your own personality out there. Don't be an encyclopedia you will bore folks to death.

Remember one thing about writing, just start! There is no time like the present. Always have someone check you work. For instance, I can't spell so I need someone who excels in spelling to check my work. I also have them point out when I don't make sense.

Build Relationships

It's time to build relationships for the final part of your MLM business plan. There are different ways to do this but Do Not spread yourself to thin. If you go and drop a posting here and there, create a hub page, an ezine and maybe then a squidoo page you will never be known to any one.

Think about it, there are currently over 13 million websites, so you can imagine how many blogs, other pages and articles are up on the web. So if you go to one then the other, than the other, what is the likelihood any one person will see what you posted or created.

Stick to one or two mediums to begin with. Get established and then move on, but don't neglect the places you first established or you will quickly fade away. Out of site, Out of mind!
