Google Docs is a Fabulous Tool that is Over Looked

Google Docs Helps You Manage Your Time and Meet Your Goals

One of the great tips folks share with their downline is to write it down. If it's an idea for later, a list of to do tasks or even your goals, you are told to put it on paper. Google Docs can be this source.

Why would you bother to keep your documents on Google? Do you remember the last time you or your friend's hard drive crashed? For many, this is an oh #### moment. I did not back up my work and now it's gone, all my future ideas, lists and campaign statistics.

Remember the time you were somewhere in the world and did not have your laptop. You wanted desperately to have the information you had typed up on a document, but it is at home so all you can do is remember the best you can.

Google can solve this problem for you. If you have internet access you can get to your documents and they are backed up so you don't ever loose them again.

It's all FREE and look what it will do for you. You will need to get a Google account to start using Docs. This one account will give you access to everything in Google: AdSense, Google Mail, Google Docs, Google Calendar and much more.

To get started - Click Here - Look for the get started button and click on it. Complete the information and you will have an account.

Once you have set up your account you will then enter your account by signing in. The User ID you selected is what you will use here. For instance if I were logging in I would use: lbnoblefl@gmail.com

NOTE: You must type in your whole email account. Then enter your password.

Let's quickly go through some of the features Google Docs gives you, from Google itself.

Create basic documents from scratch or start from a template. You can easily do all the basics, including making bulleted lists, sorting by columns, adding tables, images, comments, formulas, changing fonts and more. And it's free.

Upload your existing files. Google Docs accepts most popular file formats, including DOC, XLS, ODT, ODS, RTF, CSV, PPT, etc. So go ahead and upload your existing files.

Familiar desktop feel makes editing a breeze. Just click the toolbar buttons to bold, underline, indent, change font or number format, change cell background color and so on.

Edit and access from anywhere. There's nothing to download; you access your documents, spreadsheets and presentations from any computer with an Internet connection and a standard browser. And it's free.

Safely store your work. Online storage and auto-save means you needn't fear local hard drive failures or power outages.

Easily save and export copies. You can save your documents and spreadsheets to your own computer in DOC, XLS, CSV, ODS, ODT, PDF, RTF and HTML formats.

Organize your documents Easily find your documents by organizing them into folders. Drag and drop your documents into as many folders as you want.

Once you start using a tool like Google Docs you will wonder how you got along without it. You can also keep your appointments on the Google Calendar. Need to call someone back? Put it on your appointments.

Calendar also allows you to assign tasks so you can remain committed to completing your goals, for the day, week, month and year. When you write it down, it will get done. You will be so much more organized using a tools like these.
